Manny helped me with new progressive lenses for several sets of glasses, including my much-needed prescription sunglasses this time of year in South Florida. He even noted where a previous set of lenses--which I got via a large national chain several years ago--were incorrectly fashioned. “It was a dark and stormy night. Well, it wasn't stormy but it was dark. After a delayed flight into Miami it was late at night and as I waited for my hotel shuttle a contact lens pops out of my eye. Couldn't find it anywhere. I am now intimately familiar with Miami concrete.
Unfortunately for me, I was getting on a week-long cruise the very next day. After having nightmares of water splashed glasses or worse, fuzzy diving, I looked on Yelp for a store near to my hotel that could hook me up with a contact to get me through my cruise. After seeing the great reviews for this business, I contacted them about my contact tragedy. Mandy Rodriquez listened to my sad tale, and asked that I send him a copy of my prescription. Thank goodness for documents in the cloud. He checked the inventory and he had what I needed available. I went in, got the contacts he had for me, and was on my way.
Mandy went above and beyond for me. He provided true customer service and saved my vacation. He will be an integral part of my vacation memories because, thanks to him, I'll be able to have a great time on my trip and make some good (non-fuzzy) memories.”

“I love coming here for my glasses and sunglasses. Sandra is amazing when she helps me. She is diligent and takes her time to help me pick out the right frames for my face. There have been times where I pick frames because they look nice on the display but once I try them on they are either too big or too small and Sandra will steer me in the right direction towards another pair that they may carry that is the right size. If you come at the right time they will offer you some cafecito while you are there too!”

“I have been coming to International Opticians for all my vision needs since I was in the 3rd grade. I'm 26 years old now and still conduct business with them even though they relocated and are now a 30 minute drive from home when they used to be 2 minutes away. However, because they always make me feel right at home and really take care of my vision like it was their own, it is completely worth the drive! I am terrified of doctors, but Dr. Gonzalez's upbeat personality sets all those fears aside for me. She's very informative and makes the entire exam process a very friendly experience. Fernando has always been there for me since I got my first pair of glasses back in elementary school and even helped with an awesome pair of prescription goggles during my baseball days before I started wearing contacts. I confide him blindly in handling all my lenses and frames. Fernando does magnificent work and is very caring. He treats us like family with every visit. “I received excellent service at International Opticians. I needed to replace my old glasses and had only 3 days. I was able to update my prescription and find great glasses and my new frames with progressive and transition lenses were ready early!
The staff was very attentive especially Dr Rodriguez who was most kind and patient as I examined dozens of choices. He even took the time to repair as best as possible my old lenses so that I could use them as spares for a while. To the staff at International Opticians; Thank you!”

“Always friendly staff. They have helped fix minor problems with any glasses. They will attend whatever you need. Lab on site. So I decided to leave another optical place and get an exam and new glasses here. The previous place was cheap but exam was rushed and quality of glasses were cheap. I am now trying this local shop.”

“My older son's 12-year-old brother and he were playing basketball at Shenandoah Park, and guess who knocked his glasses off of his face? The left arm of the frame was broken clean off. We took it to this store, and the optician said that they would be happy to see if they could repair it. In less than 5 minutes, they came out with a perfect repair that did not affect his eyesight. Excellent service, great repair, and a super-friendly staff.
In other words, International Opticians kept me from yelling at my sons for very long at all! Opticians and family therapists at the same time! The BEST!
